The Cairn lodge hotel is a Victorian baronial mansion, set in attractive grounds with 14 bedrooms . There are 10 bedrooms within the hotel and an additional four bedrooms within a self catering lodge. The hotel is located immediately opposite the entrance to Auchterarder Golf Club, a well-supported private members club. The surrounding area is predominantly residential, with the village of Auchterarder being an affluent area, with a good range of local amenities. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both a 1 hour drive away.
Auchterarder is home to the Gleneagles Resort, including a 5-star hotel, 3 championship golf courses including the PGA Centenary Course, venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup and 2019 Solheim Cup.
The whole property was the subject a complete interior redesign to an exceptionally high standard when acquired by its current owners in 2018 with an 80 cover restaurant, lounge bar and new outdoor terrace. The refurbished Garden Restaurant has been extended to provide a bright, elegant dining space with views over the gardens and terrace. The restaurant is also award winning serving classic and seasonal dishes primarily from locally sourced produce. The restaurant and bar is also open to non-residents.
Whilst currently operating as a unique, bespoke hotel, the property could also be reconfigured to accommodate a variety of different uses, including as a luxury private residence, depending on the purchaser’s requirements. We can provide contact details for independent hotel management companies to operate the business on behalf of investors.
