Where is Rompin?
The Rompin District is a district located in the southeastern corner of Pahang, Malaysia. Rompin is currently under the Rompin District Council. The district covers an area of 5,296 km and is located 130 kilometers from Kuantan, the capital city of Pahang.
Kuala Rompin is a town in the Rompin district of the State of Pahang. It is located on the Southeast Coast of Peninsular Malaysia and faces the South China Sea. It is about 133 km South of Kuantan, the capital of Pahang State. From Singapore, travelers must drive 215 km to the North via Johor city's coastal road. There is a Lanjut Beach 10km from Rompin Town, this beach is the most beautiful and unpolluted beach along the South Sea of the state.
Kuala Rompin is also known as the gateway to Pulau Tioman. The Kuala Rompin area is famous for its seafood, especially Fresh Water Prawn and Clams caught around the area and the Rompin River. Crabs & Squid are also very popular and loved by visitors.
Activities that are always carried out in Kuala Rompin such as the World-Class Fishing Event by the Royal Pahang International Billfish Challenge.
