What is a UAE Investor Visa?

The UAE Long-Term Residence Visa, an immigration facility, was initiated in the UAE for rich or highly skilled ex-pats. There are two types of long term residence visas, and the UAE Investor Visa – also known as the Property Visa UAE – is one of the most common types of visas amongst them.

When foreigners are interested in starting some business in the UAE, they are issued a separate visa type called a UAE Investor Visa.

The new system for long-term residence visas was introduced in 2019. It allows foreigners to live, work and study in the UAE, more so, without a national sponsor. They can also get complete ownership of their business on the UAE’s mainland. The time period of these visas is 5 or 10 years and will be renewed automatically.

How to get a UAE Investor Visa?

When you are going to apply for a UAE long-term residence visa, several documents are needed to support your purpose of the application:

• Copy of your passport
• Passport-size pictures
• Trade license copy of your company
• Bank Statement (for the past 6 months)
• Copy of partnership contract (if applicable)
• The ID of other partners (if applicable)
• Copy of the Memorandum of Association (for LLC)
• Proof of patent (for investors)

Once you are in the UAE, you will need to apply for a long-term residence visa:

• Your entry permit
• Your passport
• Passport-size Pictures
• Medical test
• Immigration Establishment Card
• Documents related to your purpose of travel
