According to CNBC, InterNations, the world's largest expat exchange website, has released its "Top Cities for Expats 2022" survey, in which 12,000 expats were polled to select the best cities for expats to live and work.

The survey ranked expatriates in terms of personal finances, ease of settling in, friendliness of local residents, quality of life, working abroad, language, healthcare, housing and other indicators.

Valencia, Spain was voted by expats as the most livable, friendly and affordable city to live in.

In addition to being ranked number one in the Quality of Life Index, expats agree that Valencia's public transportation is cheap and easy to settle into, making expats feel at home.
