Malaysia offer 30 Days Visa-Free for China: Good Investment Opportunity

Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Sri Anwar announced that starting December 1, 2023, tourists from China and India can enjoy a visa-free entry of 30 days when visiting Malaysia.

According to a report from Tourism Malaysia in June 2023, China and India were among the top five countries frequently visited by tourists to Malaysia.

Chinese tourists secured the 4th place, with Indian tourists following closely in 5th place.

This visa-free entry is expected to increase the number of tourists from China and India, fostering growth in Malaysia's tourism sector.

Earlier, Malaysia had allowed a 30-day visa waiver policy for various countries, including:

  • Saudi Arabia   
  • Turkey   
  • Kuwait   
  • Oman   
  • Iran   
  • Jordan   
  • United Arab Emirates   
  • Qatar   
  • Bahrain   
  • Iraq 

The 30-day visa-free initiative is set to create favorable conditions for Malaysia's development, benefiting the tourism industry and various sectors, notably real estate.
