Who Can Apply?
 

Any non-EU citizens that fulfil the following requirements:  

  1. Individuals over the age of 18
  2. Contribute a significant number of investments that is beneficial to the Portuguese economy
  3. Have no history of criminal records
  4. Must own the money you seek to invest
  5. Commit to maintaining the investment for at least 5 years

That said, this programme is subjected to the following conditions:

  1. You must maintain the investment for a minimum period of 5 years
  2. Ensure funds for the investment come from abroad; no breaches or references in the Portuguese immigration and the Schengen services.
  3. Absence of conviction of crime both in Portugal and home country
  4. Minimum stay of 14 days for the first 2 years, another 14 days for the third and fourth years, and 7 days for the fifth year.
